Run System File Checker [SFC] scan on the computer which will replace the missing or corrupt files & check if the issue persists.


- type ‘cmd’ in start search box. Right click on cmd in the Program list and then select the option Run as administrator.

if you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.


-type the command, and then press ENTER:


sfc /scannow

NOTE If the System File Checker [SFC] not solve your issue, you can use the DISMcommand on windows(this commnad work only in Windows 10 and Windows 8) to repair the underlying Windows system image.

To run this command, open a Command Prompt as administrator. Type the command  and press Enter.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Hi,

    I did what you said I should do and this is what happened. Result is the same error when trying to launch Battlefront 2.

    p.s. based on the additional link and discussion there; the person trying to solve the issue with this help given never posted what happend after he finally tried the last help option, despite promise. Either got it working, or not - we'll never know.

    Ok @LetMeBeYourGirl

    This error is because of combining or omitting .dll file libraries on Windows operating systems.🤞

    The first step to solving the problem is downloading the "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer" package from the following link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displayLang=en&id=35

    We also need the .Net Framework that we can download from the following link https://www.microsoft.com/net . Once we enter the site, we click on the download and select the latest version of the .NET Framework

    Then you need to restart your machine.

    Go in Origin / My Game Library ,right click on icon SWB 2 select Repair and Update Game.
