Failed to Launch. Error on EA Side
Unable to get this fixed. Ive tried everything I could find...no joy.
- Uninstalled/reinstalled both Game and EA launcher multiple times
- Environmental Variables fix (looked for the GAME_xxx file, didnt have it)
- All drivers updated
- Everything set to administrator mode
- Compatibility mode enabled/disabled/enabled
- Uninstalled C++ and reinstalled multiple times
- Nvidia App core settings changes
- Repaired launcher & game
- Flushed DNS
- Lit a candle
- Power cycled the house
- Hacked my neighbors wifi
- Registered my sister to learn more about AARP
EA...could use some assistance.
Got it working!
Ok here is what I did.
- Uninstalled EA, an old Origin folder and the Epic Launcher of old.
- Made sure to run the EA App installer as an admin
- Installed Battlefront II
- Got a new error...something to the effect of "you PC doesnt have an app that can open this link"
- After some searching online...turns out i bought this game via EPIC years ago.
- Downloaded the Epic Launcher and ran the exe in Admin mode
- Looks like I needed both EA & Epic Launchers
- Ran the game and it worked.
