nope, didn't miss that, i read the whole thing, and i don't use a firewall or a anti virus of any sort, every exe is running as admin, DX9 is installed, only thing i hadn't done was disable the xbox app thing, still no change, i get into combat and my frame rate cuts in half, warzones are a joke, and the only reason i'm doing those i cause i have to, with the system i have i should have no problems running this on ultra, yet no joy, same could be said about my previous system.
You have a Geforce 960 4 gig.
That should mean that you can once in game change your graphical settings to Fullscreen(true), then change the default settings to Ultra, then remove the vertical Sync at the top.
Now my understanding is that you have more then one monitor so you 'should' be able to now change it back to Fullscreen Windowed.
let me know what FPS you get now.
game was already set to fullscreen, and no i only have one screen, i have v sync off in game, but set to adaptive in the nvidia control panel, game is also set to ultra and frame rate drops to 40 then back to 60 when near other players, combat appears fine since i disable the DVR thing in the xbox app, still not great, but better than before, could get more out of it if i go to very high settings... which i shouldn't need to do given my system.
Lets try setting the Nvida thing to remove the adaptive, Mr's is on the i5 with the 960FTW card so I'm not allowed/able to touch it at the moment.. but I know for certain it gets 100fps soft-capped in fleet with a dip to the 80's-100 in warzones... ZERO glitches or fps lag issues.
i set the nvidia profile for swtor back to defaults, i get up to 90 frames when facing one direction and 60 or lower when facing another... and screen tearing hurts my eyes to no end...
You shouldn't have any tearing at all, something has to still be incorrectly set up... the tricky part is .."what"?
Your Windows Resolution is Correct?
Your Nvida Resolution is Correct?
Your Game Resolution is Correct?
All 3 should be the same...
you shouldn't need to do any overscan or underscan on your Nvidia control panel for the flatscreen, ... all 3 should have the correct Refresh Rates for your monitor?.. (*all 3 settings again)?
never changed anything to underscan or over scan, all screen resolutions are the same, windows says 1920 x 1080, nvidia say 1080p 1920 x 1080 in-game is 1920 x 1080 refresh rates are all set to 60, setting on the starting world, and looking down a hill at the jedi temple and my frame rate drops to 40 frames at best, i don't even get how the settings could be any different, or "not set up properly"...
i really want to avoid installing the game again, as it takes a good, 10 to 12 hours to download, given i live in australia and for some stupid reason the game downloads horrendously slow...
