Re: One famous wookie Chewbacca legendary turn meter bugs

I replied on the other thread.

ROLO lead grants 30% tm the first time a Rebel ally resists or suffers a debuff "each turn." In your pictures, you apply debuffs on two separate turns, so Chewie would correctly gain 60%. So your pictures seem to show it as WAI.

  • Again, “turn” for leaders has always meant the turn of the character affected by the leadership role, not every enemy turn. So ROLO’s lead, if working correctly, should be redrafted to read “each time any enemy turn is taken.” Again, this is a super sloppy mechanic especially when it relates to counter attacks and assists. Would those grant ™ boost? Or not? And if so, for only one enemy character, or all?

Say, e.g. wedge uses his special on another CLS team, or an Embo team. Then all 5 characters counter attack. Would Wedge get ™ from all of them, none of them, or one of them? The ROLO lead does not make this clear. Hence why I continue to hold that it should only apply once during (or between turns) each turn for the character acting under ROLO’s lead.

No, "turn" has always meant any character's turn.  I am unaware of any leader's ability that only applies to ally's turns without specifically saying so.  Can you provide an example?

If Wedge uses his special attack on another CLS team, it is Wedge's turn.  The counterattacks are not "turns" for those characters, those are actions happening on Wedge's turn.  If any of them apply a debuff to Wedge, then ROLO's leadership ability would trigger, and Wedge would gain 30% turn meter.  Her leadership ability clearly states it can only happen once per turn - so on his turn, Wedge can only gain 30%.  The next character that takes a turn resets this, and another debuff on Wedge will allow him to gain 30% turn meter on that turn.

In terms of the counterattacks, look at Traya's leadership ability, "Compassion is Weakness" - "When an enemy uses an ability outside their turn..." - it triggers when allies assist or counterattack, because they are performing abilities not within their own turns.

"Turn" with no modifiers usually means any character's turn, like with Chirrut's passive healing ability.
