I'm sorry you aren't happy with the performance of General Grievous and you regret putting the zeta materials on him. Unfortunately, that's not a bug and doesn't belong on this forum.
According to EA_Carrie on reddit, they are considering allowing players to refund GG zeta investments, but it hasn't yet been decided.
In the meantime, you could reach out to SWGOH Customer Support and ask them if they can help you refund the zeta.
