You must own Knights of Eternal Empire

Ok when I purchased the expansion Rise of The Hut Cartel I also subscribed and I got aces to Knights of Eternal Empire back then I was told

that expansions remains even if sub ends. Now I come back to the game and I found out I can't progress from lvl 65 to 70. When I contacted support I was told that I need to own the expansion Knights of Eternal empire even tho it was a  part of the package I bought back then and I even played it and progressed. Is that normal ?

Did you buy rise of the hutt cartel from the swtor.com site directly?  Only reason I ask is because that does not include the expansions KotFE or KotET.  To get those you would need to just go to the subscription page of your account and purchase either a 60 day time card or at least a one month subscription.  Getting Rise of the Hutt Cartel doesn't give the newest expansions.

KOTFE expansion allows level to 65

KOTET expansion allows level to 70

So if you subscribed prior to Dec 2 2016 then you so not have this expansion pack, another 30 day subscription will give you that access now.

When initially released on October 27th 2015 was the level cap 65 or 70 ?

So if I subscribe right now for 1 month would that unlock  it and would I keep it after sub ends ?

    Also to answer your question:

When initially released on October 27th 2015 was the level cap 65 or 70 ?

    • The level cap was set to 65. It was not increased to level 70 until the release on December 2, 2016.

To add to proxos  and Belgorad, the last two Expansions are Named very similar,  as

Knights of the Falle Empire and

Knights of the Eternal Throne, so on some occasions you have to look very precise which Expansions is meant.

  • I assume you could always create a new FTP account under a different EMail so you get everything - It is like they are delibetly punishing early players.

Not sure what you mean by this, F2P have always only had access to level 50 and the original 8 class stories, spending $15.00 for a 30 day subscription gets you all the released expansions at the time of your subscription, and you keep that access if you drop your subscriber status back to a preferred player.

Expecting to get everything for nothing is a bit unrealistic.
