Am I the only one that prefers single player?

I was wondering am I the only one that prefer single player over multiplayer? I mean don't get me wrong I like multiplayer & play here & there if I am in the mood but I prefer playing star wars battlefront 2 in single player.

I mean you don't have to worry about lag, balancing issues, hour long matches, glitches & etc. With single player you have instant action & arcade in which you can customize every match to your liking. Not to mention the bots are actually pretty good depending on the map you play.

If you ask me single player is how the game should be with multiplayer on the side. Games are becoming to online heavy in my opinion & the single player is pretty much what makes this game for me not the multiplayer. Being able to play as any hero, reinforcement, & on any era I want is what makes the game fun for me.

Now I am not trying to cause any hate or start any flame wars but I feel like if I want to play multiplayer I should be playing battlefront 2015. The multiplayer is 10x better there in my opinion because the game was made/centered around multiplayer.

This game I feel like has an identity crisis trying to be it's own game yet trying to copy what the classics battlefront games had going for it. In my opinion this game doesn't do a good job with the multiplayer but has an amazing single player. The single player in my opinion did a better job at capturing the classic single player feel that 2004 & 2005 had. Multiplayer is just a mess of random game modes supremacy. Would be fun since it's the classic game play but online but because of balancing issues & the ship phase (not a fan of the ship phase) the game loses all fun in my opinion.

In my opinion this game is only redeemed because of the single player content. Once again I am not trying to start a flame war or anything just looking for others who kind of or just agree with me lol. Now if you want to say why multiplayer is better then single player go ahead but please don't turn this into a flame war or anything.

@exiledrose I find offline gets boring after a while, because all it is is kill, kill, kill...and Instant Action only bring capturing objectives. But I understand why you like it.

^it will be like this for squadrons, a campaign and 2 online modes. But it is kinda based on multiplayer...but it’s star fighters so I’m not sure if this is better or worse than troopers for you online

Eh, I prefer single player too, but that's mainly because people gain an ego and pretend like their suddenly badasses in real life every time they score. It's like get over yourself lol. I just like to chill and have fun because it's a game and nothing more.

Sometime play offline supremacy cuz the bots usually play the objective more than real human players..

@HCarbonicEh true you do have a point about that in all honesty. The Ai could of been tuned some more in my opinion. Rookie is like very easy, Normal is like in between easy & normal, & expert (they only do like 2x damage) I mean most of the Ai just play defense around the 2 command posts near there spawn area. Though they do attack & try to capture commands posts. Only to be meet by the large bunch defending & there is usually a battle going on around C on most maps.

Arcade now the AI behaviour does change depending on the difficulty but not much you just see them using their abilities a bit more then before & do extra damage.

Though if you play arcade onslaught it's actually turns into a real survival mode since the longer it drags on the more enemies that spawn in & chase you down making it a real challenge toward the end.

So yeah the AI in instant action & arcade could of used some fine tuneing/tweaks.

Oh I forgot instant action co-op, if you play instant action co-op the Ai is as deadly as they are in the actual online co-op mode. You can easily lose in that one especially if you are the one defending. Though attacking you usually win lol.
So if you're looking for a challenge instant action co-op on defense maps or arcade onslaught is where it's at lol.

Eh I really can't play squadrons because of it being in first person. I have a head issue & playing starfighters in first person make my head act up a lot lol. So another reason why I prefer single player not as good at playing online as I used to be do to my head.

@Vace234 I agree with you 100% on that & I am the same way. If I become top of the leader broad great, if I am at the very bottom eh whatever I don't care lol. As long as I had fun that's all that matters truthfully.

I generally prefer singleplayer games to multiplayer games anyway, but I support games like Battlefront II having more singleplayer modes because like... the servers will close eventually? And if there was no singleplayer, there wouldn't be a game left to play.
I enjoy Battlefront II's campaign, instant action and arcade for sure. The last two can get a little boring after a time, and I think multiplayer has more variety and Starfighter Assault, but overall I think the gameplay feels better and it's nice to have more control over heroes etc unlike in the MP 🙂

@Vace234 I know what you mean recently i got a message over xbox live saying "Trash at this game Co-op Fatties" he wasnt nice at all >. <

Co-Op is great because I don't have to worry about hackers on PC using 1-hit kill cheats because EA has trash anti-cheat on PC.
