with the launcher closed delete any patch folders see if that helps first

edit - also try the launcher repair utility at https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/GUIDE-Launcher-Troubleshooting/m-p/4805820/highlight/true#2 if the above doesnt work

@proxos666 Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't able to try your suggestion as my PC got right after a blue screen from updating NVIDIA Game Ready and just like that I was left out of my system permanently. I had to send my machine for repairs and now everything seems ok. Thanks again.
