The statement you quoted means he cannot have Taunts applied to him, not that he ignores enemy Taunts.

Sith Eternal Emperor cannot be applied with Taunt, Death Mark or Marked.

The only time he can ignore taunts is during the bonus turn provided by "Unraveled Destiny" when he uses "Entwined Fate".
