My game updated to 6.2 and I logged in like normal. All my characters say "NOT READY" and I'm stuck on quickplay only. I have tried every trick I have read online about fixing this with no change. I don't understand what is going on, my wifes game on her lower end computer loaded just fine and can click on her characters and play. Mine just sits at 0.0% download complete and has been for the last hour.
I have completely the same problem, being stuck in quickplay mode. Did you try reinstaling the game? Would that help?
Thanks for replying, none of you suggested is working for me either, let's hope that the'll fix this quickly, I was really looking forward to the continuation of SWTOR's storyline ☹️

Stuck at 0%- Set compatibility mode on the game shortcut to Windows XP Service Pack 3
if you want to install via steam to get the steam achievements that will also fix it the quick play issue

for those not aware how to do this i will post the steps below , i usually tick run as admin too just because 🙂
right mouse clicked on the game shortcut , selected properties
click on the compatibility tab and then tick "run this program as administrator" and tick run this program in compatibility mode and select windows xp service pack 3
