I like that idea and then you could add the singing skill to have a lead singer to the band. You can have different genres of music for different band types like Emo, Metal, Country and pop. You can gain skill in all the different instruments not just pianos, violins, and guitars. You can write music and compose as a as your band gradually increases their band skill. Then perform for other sims in the battle of the bands or performing live audience of sims once the band skill increases. There needs to have a drum kit, cello / bass.

It can ingrate the packs and expansions of get together, high school years, base game and other packs as well.
