Gameplay with infants is infuriatingly AWFUL.

Can we talk about the ways?

  • FOUR MENU SELECTIONS to get to the two basic things everyone on the planet does with their babies: feeding them, and changing their diapers. It should be one click.
  • ADULT SIMS CONSTANTLY REMOVING INFANTS FROM THE CRIB FOR NO REASON. There is no one on the planet who wants to disrupt a baby from EVER sleeping.
  • ANGRY BABIES. Babies do not get angry. Only in the most dire circumstances of not being cared for.
  • CANCELING SIMS' INTERACTIONS WITH BABIES BECAUSE THE BABY IS DOING SOMETHING. Waiting on a baby to toddle over before putting it in the crib? You take a baby, pick it up and put it in the crib. Get rid of baby behaviors like these. They add nothing to the game.
  • BABIES NOT TO TYPE: Calm babies waking up angry. Sunny babies crying all the time. Calm babies with diaper blowouts ALL THE TIME.
  • BATHS THAT LAST HOURS: It is the fastest thing in the world to bathe a baby. Five minutes tops.
  • ANY NUMBER OF OTHER WAYS.

With all this crap, there is no time to do anything else with any of them.

It makes you wonder, did anyone who came up with this protocol ever even have a baby?

  • Infant Gameplay pack would be nice too..

1.Toys and object play: Babies interact with age-appropriate toys and objects.

2.Physical play: Activities such as tummy time and reaching out to grab shiny objects can be included.

3.Music Therapy:  Melodies have a soothing effect on babies and can boost their memory as well as mental skills.

4.Emotes: Talk with animated gestures and expressions.

    5. Play Hide And Seek: Hide your face behind your hands or a cloth.

6.Stimulate The Senses:  When bathing your infant , you should be able to let them splash water and play with it.
And if you are feeding, then let him or her feel the bottle.
