Evo Lounge - No opponents found, so unable to evolve player

Problem: As the title suggests, I'm unable to find any players in the friendly game mode - Evo Lounge. (PC, Div 4, Asia).

Searched for one game for 30 odd minutes before giving up. This is just frustrating, since the new evolutions requires us to play games in the Evo Lounge. 

Possible fix:

(i) Change the objective to something else. Possibly main rivals/champs/squad battles

(ii) Change matchmaking to all divisions for this particular game mode. It shouldn't be an issue since the games are not limited in this friendly mode.
