Hi there, I have this one sim that gets covered in question marks whenever I age them up? Its only affected that one sim. I’ve tried restarting my mac and repairing the game multiple times.
No mods or CC or anything.

Launch the game and click on load game, click on the affected save then hover over the copy icon to see the file path:
(The graphic has changed a little since I took that screenshot but the principle is the same)
That’s showing you which specific save it is. Go into your Sims 4 saves folder, find the save file with the same file name and then upload it to a file sharing site for me to download.

I entered the cas.fulleditmode cheat and aged her up in CAS and it happened with all future life stages, not just to teen.
I then tried again but this time changing her skin tone before ageing her up, same thing happened. So it doesn't matter which skin tone she has, it always happens.
I aged up the parents in CAS ok, no problem with skin tones.

I'm having this issue as well on PC. Moving mods to the desktop and repair game temporarily fixes this.
