Re: Not very happy!

@AnnaValla

Weird to see how fast you wave with money..... Instead trying to convince the makers to do something about it, maybe if we all returned the game, how would your boss think of that.... wait for the headlines in the papers....

    So far no employee of EA has written anything here. Operative is a level you get when you promote through the ranks, we are just forumers. Also, by making a comment on the forum the programmers aren't going to take work on it again to make some people happy, and even if they did, they will make other player unhappy. It's never good for all players to get sattisfied.

    But it seems that some people already written of this game and when other players give advise it's still not good enough. If you want everything to be the same as in previous versions then don't buy new games. No matter what game, there will be changes.

    Not sure what's so unrealistic about a sim being at work and then can't use him for other things. Like i said, the guy who posted this played 1 hour and said it's no fun. If you continue playing you get promoted quick enough and you can have many things that make money for you like publishing a book or selling records. You only work 6 days a week for a short while. My sim works 3 x 4 hours. I fast forward and within 45 seconds he's home.

    Edit: i now read what you meant Mblackkatt, i was typing while you posted another reply

    Haha, yep,
    I do not understand what the problem is. Think my first post was clear enough. Apparently not ... I'll try again

    The game is in a big way just like all the others. I am aware of all improvements made "under the hood" but it does not matter if everything else is the same. Aside from the new face expressions, and intelligent task management, (when it works) I am talking about a bug where my sim went to the bathroom, sat down for half a second, getting up again, washes his hands, and repeat the whole process again , and again!

    After a few hours of play, I feel that everything is just like its predecessor. I went to the "museum"
    I use parentheses because calling this a museum would be closer to the truth that the graphics are awesome and looks just like any other game from 2014! and not at all like the first edition of The Sims.

    The settings were automatically set to Ultra. Yet barely uses any system resources at all. If the graphics had been something to brag about. Is the fact that my graphics card processor only uses 535Mhz of its 1157MHz in order to run the game at 60 fps on Ultra. Would it have been impressive to say the least, but since this is a big fat NO! is all it accomplishes nothing other than to make me proficient pissed.

    Apparently, it is believed "we do not care how any other game looks today, people do not care about graphics" so we make the game as resource efficient as possible, so that you can play the game on your mobile for God's sake. Thinking, perhaps we can even out all the losses we had / have for SimCity, (which still has a ton of bugs that are now on The Back Burner)

    Most sims players have don't have great gaming machines. It is largely not a tech-savvy crowdas well. In order to make the game playable for the largest audience possible, the system requirements need to be kept really low.
