Thank you for the answer! This worked as was starting to panic i'd spent £15 for nothing!

it is a game pack so it is automattically install in the game and **bleep** chill

This is the solution, i had the same issue but needed to reboot my computer a few times but afterwards the download option was available at origin/my games/ sims 4  click on the i

There is NO option to download it and it doesn't appear.
