I had an issue selling Trendi outfits while my sims were living in a residential rental, however, my sim was one of the property owners.
I ended up adding a second mailbox (also from For Rent, but the one that looks like a single mailbox) and I was able to send one outfit. When I tried to send the second outfit it didn't work and I had to move the mailbox (the one my sim had just bought). That worked. She actually got offers on all five outfits (i.e. for the Social Bunny aspiration) and I had to move the mailbox each time I sent a separate outfit. Though the fact that I had to move the second mailbox every time she tried to ship an outfit made me wonder afterwards if the original mailbox (the one that looks like it's three mailboxes) might have worked if I moved it but I'd have to buy and list more Trendi outfits to find that out.
I believe I got a last exception for it, the timing of the report seemed to tie with approximately when it happened in the game (I'm currently playing mod (and cc) free, so no MCCC or Better Exceptions to come up exactly when the issue is happening).
I play on PC, my game version is1.103.250.1020, I have everything except the Modern Menswear kit and as I mentioned, I'm currently playing mod (and always cc) free since installing the Dec 5 game update.
Best regards,
Jennifer

It's that you can't ship from inventory on the mailboxes that came with For Rent. I couldn't ship a sculpture for Plopsy on the 3 box For Rent mailbox as resident property manager, but when I added an older mailbox to the lot (without removing the For Rent mailbox) the new box worked fine. I also couldn't choose a treasure/sea shell to ship for Odd Jobs from inventory, but could choose ship to customer on the For Rent mailbox.
My couple owns the rental lot. Mailbox is a self-made one (idk which pack from).
No plopsy-sesls could have been mailed, not from the inventory nor from the mailbox.
I added another base game mailbox. Now the wife could mail her 2 plopsy sells but only via inventory, no send-option at the mailbox avilable.
The husband was not able to deliver the item, even after moving the mailbox. No action appears in his qeue from chosing"send item to customer" from within inventory. No mailbox option either.
Note: Neither is working with the city living wall mailbox.

Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, Dream Home Decorator, Nifty Knitting, Tiny Living, Moschino, Laundry Day, Toddler Stuff, Fitness Stuff, Bowling Night, Vintage Glamour, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Spa Day, Pefect Patio, Luxury Party, Courtyard OasisI also added a 2nd mailbox, the Lonely Cluster Mailbox (already had the Industrial Cluster Mailbox) and it worked 1 time. So I added the Rural Cluster Mailbox and a regular mailbox and still nothing.
But when I sold the Industrial Cluster Mailbox I was able to ship on Plopsy just fine. The first time she went to the Rural Box, the 2nd time she went to the Ol' Rusty Mailbox.
No mods, no cc.
I ended up having to sell and rebuy a mailbox each time I wanted to ship on Plopsy/Trendi. I don't know if the mailbox type mattered but I stuck with the Rural Cluster Mailbox. I was also the property owner so I don't know if this affects tenants or not. It's a pretty easy work around so I hope it helps others too.

After putting my mods back I decided to test something. I have the SimRealist RE mod installed and with it I have other properties. So when I went to visit one of the other properties I was able to able to sell my stuff on that property.
I believe this bug is closely linked to the Retail Bug where you can't sell anything if you own a retail lot and you live in a residential rental. Not sure if that has also been posted but I saw some people talking about it. - MrsLothario2 years agoRising Rookie
Ah. I see. So basically the reason why it's not working is because you can't use the mailboxes in the shared space? If you put the mailbox in your unit it should work?

I'm still fighting the For Rent mailboxes to send Plopsy packages. Unfortunately, I have to add another mailbox to send orders. Below is the video of the action. We used to have the same problems with the mailboxes in the San Myshuno apartments, nowadays I don't know if the same problem still happens since I no longer play on the San Myshuno map due to another bug. But regarding the For Rent mailboxes, at least in this case that I demonstrated in the video, I cannot do the action of sending the orders. I haven't tested it with the other boxes in the same package. Game version Pc: 1.107.112.1030 (portuguese)
I can’t send anything on plopsy either, when I click on ship on plopsy nothing happens.
repacing the mailbox works once, then if I want to ship again I’ll have to continue replacing the mailbox which is crazy.
i have the for rent pack.
