Changing between culinary and mixology career branch

I recently fulfilled my culinary achievement and decided that I wanted to advance to the mixology achievement and complete this. However, in order to do so, I am required to select the mixology career branch of the culinary career instead of the chef branch. I figured that this would be a simple fix. I would just quit my current job as celebrity chef and re-enter the culinary career until I get the prompt that asked me whether I wanted mixology or chef branch. 

Problem is, there is no way that I am able to get this choice any longer. I am stuck in the chef branch. Even if I demote myself by continually quitting my job and re-applying for the culinary position, the prompt does not appear. 

There is no way that I can complete my mixology aspiration! 

I've had the same issue with the other careers as well, where you cannot reverse and select the other choice once you have already selected which branch you want the first time. 

Is there a way to convert back and forth between the chef branch and mixology branch so that the aspiration can be completed?
