I am now having the same issue. I use the Sims 3 camera and its working except for when i try to rotate my screen. I can not use my middle mouse button to rotate my screen anymore. I have tried repairing the game multiple times through origin and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still no luck.

are you using any mods in your game ? If so, have you tried without (UI Cheat extension mod seems to conflict with some commands and needs updating)

There are some known issues in Tab mode though so maybe there's other stuff that's broken after the patch.

Will try my game later to make sure.

I use some custom content and a columns mod, ive never had an issue with it before but i will try taking them out.
I play in windowed fullscreen but im not sure that has anything to do with it as ive changed it to different views.

mods need updating with patches so make sure you always use the version that fits your patch level.

I am now having this very same issue.

I've  have never had any mod's or custom content.  It started after I purchased the new expansion.

I cannot rotate my view on my camera at all.

Repairing game didn't resolve the issue.

Any suggestions?

I've repaired my game twice and it's not working for me.  Broke after the latest update.

I've noticed this for the last four months ago - off and on. I just fired it up today after 2 months and the Sims 3 camera mode middle mouse button tilt camera does not appear to work AT ALL

You can hold down CTRL and the RIGHT mouse button to do the same thing - although this seems to use the opposite orientation, so you will also need to change the horizontal and vertical rotation settings.
