Re: move objects help

Just tested it my game. I did 'bb.moveobjects on' then ctrl+9 to move the object up. 

With shift+9 without the moveobjects it would send me to the front yard. So it sounds like your move objects cheat isn't on, do you get feedback that it has been turned on? 

i get confirmation that it is turned on but it still does it with ctrl+9. plus shift+9 does nothing

That is weird, do you maybe have something running in the background that might use the same keys?

And does the testingcheats itself work?

i shouldn't have anything running in the background and yes testing cheats does work.

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? If so, try putting that folder on the desktop to see if that works.

Edit: after talking with the other Sims Heroes we thought, just clicking 9 a couple of times might work. Could you test that?

And it might be you have camera position saved. Which sends you to to the front of the lot with ctrl+9. Try deleting (or moving to the desktop) the file in: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\VideoCameraStates 

@EA_Mai tested it and found that when you have an position save with ctrl+9 in TS4 and TS3 mode. So when you use the 9 to move the object you get moved to the position that was saved. It might also move the object up. But with some object that might not happen and you only move with the camera. You can't undo the saved position, which is used to take movies in The Sims 4. You can only undo it by deleting the file I mentioned in my previous reply. If this is what is causing the problem, you can make sure it doesn't happen in the future you should try not using the ctrl+9. To me it's a bit weird, because in my game ctrl+9 works for moving up and down objects. I'll test it again later today.

I checked in my own game, and with the TS3 and TS4, with bb.moveobjects on, CTRL+9, Shift+9 and just 9 work to move objects up. So I guess it's because EA_Mai and I work on different keyboards. Let me know how deleting the file goes!
