New pack and latest update ruining the game

Latest patch as we all are aware broke the game and took away several actions such as pregnancy tests and dragging items into bins/sinks/dishwashers. But the new enchanted by nature pack has made it worse. As much as I love the new pack’s concept and features, it has made my game incredibly slow to a point where its practically unplayable. It also broke lumpineau’s RPO mod (a brilliant mod I use every gameplay as it makes the game so much better) which she is still in the process of fixing I believe - but without a significant fix to the base game itself by EA there is probably not a lot she can do. So essentially the sims experience is ruined for me now as I can hardly play the game or properly try out the new pack I paid good money for! Anyone else experiencing these issues or have any tips ?

For the performance issues, please describe them in more detail.  I don't know whether I can help with that, but I can certainly try.  If you're interested, please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

The game is just running extremely slow. The mods are now fixed thank goodness due to EA's latest patch fix, but the game itself is still very laggy and unresponsive to commands. I have attached the file you have asked for, hope you can help. Thankyou :)

Since your computer's system drive has plenty of free space, you can simply increase the size of the page file.  But given how much is in use, I would instead suggest trying to cut down on the number of background processes running.  Open the Task Manager, click the Startup icon, and disable anything that doesn't need to be running all the time.  For example, you might see Edge or Teams on the list.  Disabling these doesn't prevent them from working; it just means they won't start with Windows and keep running.

If you're not sure what you're looking at, feel free to post a screenshot or two.

When you're done, restart your computer, wait two minutes without doing anything, then open the Task Manager (but nothing else yet) and let me know how much RAM is in use overall.  It'll show as a percentage in the Memory header.  Once you have that number, see how Sims 4 runs.
