I am having the same issue.
I just delete them and they start again and again. My sims are not doing exatly anything previously mentioned.

Does this Discovery Quest issue persist if you delete the accountdataDB.package file seen below, and then restart the game?
Hi there,
I've just today finished week 4 of the reaper's reward event and as soon as i completed it I started getting these Discovery Quests popping up even though I don't have it enabled in my settings. I tried deleting the accountdataDB.package file but the problem persists.
I started experiencing this issue after completing the most recent reaper reward thing. Disabling the quests doesn't work and the issue DOES persist, even if you delete the file accountdataDB.package
Hoping for a fix, all the popups are really annoying and I don't think I'll play this specific save until it's solved - hoping this issue doesn't occur in my other saves as well.
If I do this won't I lose all the reaper rewards I just spent 6 weeks earning.!?
This did not fix the issue for me.
I am having the same glitch and this fix did not work for me. I closed the game, deleted the file, and restarted the game and am still getting spammed with discovery quests. I have discovery quests turned off locally in the save as well as globally, and deleting the quests just causes them to immediately reappear. This is only happening in the save file where I completed the Reaper's Rewards event.
I've gotten this issue myself as well after completing The Reaper's Reward Event. I have tried disabling the tab, resetting the discover request, exiting and relaunching the game, nothing has fixed this and its annoying as heck. Even removing mods didn't help. I'm trying the removal of that file now and see if that works
- @TheElementals13 Ok yeah after removing the file it didn't fix it. I so hope there will be a fix because I don't wanna lose my Event progress I've done and restart everything :c

Is there somehow a solution for console because I have no way to get into anything like that
I even did that, it still doesn't work, I've tried everything everyone recommends, I'm guessing it's probably a bug with the game and not the players?
I was hoping this would be fixed on 11/26 when the Reapers Rewards quests went away, but it's still happening in that old save.
