Hello, My Sims 4 is very choppy, has slow queue for actions, and is unplayable because my in game time is being used up so fast while my Sim does absolutely nothing.
This problem started a couple weeks ago, while happening before, I could usually restart PC and game would be okay. I run on the game on Ultra, as I do with every other game I play (Which have no performance issues after initial startup.) I also use Border less Windowed mode, as I do with every other game)
Things I have tried doing to fix the problem:
Restarting PC
Uninstalling and reinstalling game w/out any previous save/mod data.
Removed mods, saved games, cache, and tray filesChanged to Low Settings (Which I refuse to play on with my hardware) have the same stuttery gameplay, so graphics are not an issue.
Defragmenting Secondary Hard Drive, where my game is installed (It was 43% fragmented)
My Setup:
- GTX 1070
- Intel i5-4690k
- 1 TB HDD
- Windows 10
Any help is much appreciated. I like this game, and would like to continue playing it, but this problem makes the game frustrating.

No one was responding to me there, and no one is responding to me here either.
We're looking at your post, I've forwarded your post to a CM to double check as I don't see anything wrong with your DxDiag at the moment. You seem to have a powerful computer, that shouldn't be lagging at all.
In the mean time you could try some other things:
- See how the game runs without the screenshots folder in.
- Check if you have any spyware on your computer.
- You could also check what is asking so much in your processes bar (ctrl+alt+delete) when the game is lagging, is it The Sims 4 or a different program?
- And you can always try a full clean boot: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling/
@ZeayoTheGr8 what ended up being the solution?

@ZeayoTheGr8 Did you try the game with just the monitor plugged in?

I pretty much did all of my steps again, this time deleting everything, keeping no backups for my old saves or Tray files. Deleted every trace of the game from my system, reinstalled the game on my Primary Hard Drive, and started a new game fresh. (Used cheats to get my character back to where she was tbh).
I suspect I will have problems again in the future, for it's still sketchy in loading screens, but for now it seems to work okay again.
