Looks like there's currently an issue with custom content hair .. guess it's waiting until the creators can figure it out.

like I cant just go to all the cc places and redownload it I HAVE LIKE SO MUCH CC and I don't know where any of its from
So will we have to re-download all the damaged custom content or will it be automatically fixed?
- it wont work, i deleted one of the cc hairstyles and downloaded it again and it still wouldnt change colours
This was happening to me too and I had no idea what to do. Let me tell you that deleting the cc hair (and other cc that isn't working) DOES NOT work UNLESS the creator fixes them. I went into Sims 4 Studio (still learning how to use it) and clicked Content Management. Then I hovered over Batch Fixes, then CAS, and clicked Update CAS CC For All Genders. I later went in and clicked on Allow CC for random. Following through with both of these commands, the hair colors came back! I hope this helped! (Again, I am just starting out with S4S and am open to corrections if you have any).
can you explain exactly how you got there? I'm completely new to Sims 4 Studio and I have no idea where to even find "content management" all i come up with it "content management tutorials"
open sims4studio, go to content management at the top left next to tools and help. then click batch fixes and go to CAS, update all cc for all genders then allow cc for random.
Doing that with S4S doesnt work I just tried it and the hairs that weren't changing still won't change. If this doesnt get fixed I'm going back to sims 3. smh
This didn't work for me at all. I'm getting so frustrated with this. I knew my script mods would stop working but I want my hairs to be able to change freaking color!
- Anonymous7 years agoI can't find the "content management" button. You do mean the website "Sims 4 studio" right?
- If you pull up Sims 4 Studio you will see many blue squares on your screen. Now if you look up at the top left hand corner of the screen, you'll see a line of tabs. The order is File, Settings, Tools, Content Management, and Help. You want to click on Content Management and follow the instructions I wrote previously. I hope this will help!
- Nope, I have Sims 4 Studio downloaded. If you download it and open it, you'll see many blue squares. If you look at the top left hand corner you will see a line of words, you want to click Content Management and follow my previous instructions. I hope this helped!
- @hayleeyyyy samee even though it ALWAYS crashes for me lmao
It worked. all my custom hairs now can be back to normal. Yay!!! Thanks
This was by reinstalling the game?
- @hayami39400 no, it was because of the newest update
- I meant, were you able to get the CC hair back to normal by reinstalling the game (Sims 4)?

I haven't looked into how this affected the rest of my CC, but this worked great for all of my hair CC! So thank you very much! You're a life saver!!!!!
- Anonymous7 years agodid you just reinstall the game?
- Does reinstalling the actual game help?
- Anonymous7 years agoI wanna know too cause i dont wanna lose my buildings for nothing.. in case it doesnt help...
Me too crinrict
I understand. There just hasn’t been a clear response yet.
It seems as though the S4S solution is sort of irrelevant, and then updating UI extension cheat, or reinstalling the game (?) seem like more probable solutions...now.
UI extension cheat has been updated Try to remove the CC hair and see if the game works
