Child/Toddler Vampires Eyes Change to Normal Color

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I own all of the packages except exercise, bowling, and patio stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a toddler/child and check their eyes
What happens when the bug occurs? Toddler's and child vampires eyes have all changed to non-vampire colors.
What do you expect to see? Eyes to not change
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Seasons Patch

Toddler's and child vampires eyes have all changed to non-vampire colors.

I'm on PC, not using mods, and I own all of the packages except exercise, bowling, and patio stuff.

    Hm .. this is an old bug that's supposed to be fixed.

    Hi @hedgewriting

    I've been doing some testing on this and I have a question for you:

    • At what point did they all change ? When you loaded the game or after creating new toddlers as described in your post ?
    • Did you try changing them back ? If so, do they keep reverting ?

    Reason I'm asking is that I tried with a new save and new toddler and had no issues and also with my existing toddlers ingame and had no issues.

    Hey so I went back in and tried to change those toddlers and it didn't work. But when I tried it with a different families toddler it worked. Made a new game and problem persisted with the one family but not other families. Really weird but if your not getting the bug maybe it was just a one time issue?? Thanks for your help 🙂

    Hi @hedgewriting did you use the same families or did it not work with the same one in different games ?

    Could you upload the family to the gallery and let me know the name ?

    Hey there! I'm also experiencing this issue with one of my toddlers. Did not have any issues after the Seasons patch (or at least I don't think so, I haven't played this fam much since the patch), but I am experiencing them now. He was born with the yellow vampire eyes, but today they suddenly changed to normal human blue ones. Went into CAS and changed them back into the yellow vamp eyes he used to have, but as soon as I exited CAS, they had reverted back to blue. Can't say for sure this issue happens to other families of mine as well, because this is the only vampire toddler I have in my game at the moment with these vampire eyes. Would love to see this fixed, because I'm big into storytelling and would hate to have to come with an explanation as to why his beautiful yellow eyes suddenly turned blue. 😞
