Sorry about the caps! But this question was NOT answered despite my having asked numerous times. Is it too much to expect an answer after all this time?
Did Crin's response not help you?
If you are playing Sims 4 - why are you using the CAS demo? There is a full version of CAS in the Sims 4 game - there's no need to switch between the demo and the game.
No, Crin's response did not help at all! And the CAS Demo had more going for it than using the CAS in the Sims4 Game. But then, unless you have tried it -- you would know how it differed from just using the CAS in the Sims4 Game. Whole new & different experience.
I have the CAS Demo, once I got the Sims 4 game I stopped using it as it was a demo only.

@foy1jay Installed the CAS Demos so I can add some pics
In your Doc folder you should have this if you have both the game and the CAS Demo installed and started both once (NVM the german Sims folder and the Sims 3 folder)
When you click on the OK button in the game to save the Sim, the game saves the Sim to the Tray folder in the Create A Sim Demo folder
This Sim now shows up in your CAS Demo Library
This Sim will NOT show up in the game as the game uses the Sims 4 folder and not the Sims 4 CAS Demo one.
All you need to do now is copy all this files from the Sims 4 CAS Demo folder to the Sims 4 folder
and then you'll have the Sim showing up in the game when you click on library. From there you can place the Sim in the game.
