Re: Will this laptop run the sims 4?

@fashlandhelper  Yes, that laptop would handle Sims 4 just fine, likely on ultra settings or with a couple turned down to high, depending on how many expansion packs you have installed.  But you can do better for your money.  In particular, the difference between a seventh-generation Intel processor like this model has and an 8th-gen CPU is significant.  You could also get a better graphics card for the same price, or close to it.

For example, this MSI laptop is $700 and comes with an additional $50 rebate card.  Its processor is actually 9th-gen (a much smaller improvement over the 8th-gen models), and its graphics card is an Nvidia 1050 ti, which is somewhat faster than the non-ti variant.  It only has a 256 GB hard drive, but it's a fast solid state drive.  256 GB is plenty for Sims 4, your saves and other content, and a few small apps like browsers, but it might not be enough if you also want to store large collections of data (photos, music, etc.) on the laptop.

The same configuration except with a 128 GB SSD/1 TB HDD combination, and a smaller screen, is $700:

But for that price, you could get an even better graphics card and a 512 GB SSD, which is enough storage for most people.  These two both have an Nvidia 1650, the same processor as above, and the larger SSD.  The MSI is $800 but with a $100 rebate; the Lenovo is $709.

If you really want a lot of storage, there are other options with a 1 TB HDD, or a combination SSD/HDD, available on Amazon in your price range.  If you'd like me to list a couple of those instead, let me know.  And please feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

@missangelica10  Yes, it should do fine.  The 1650 is capable of running Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings, all packs included, although you might notice some slowdowns here and there.  The laptop doesn't have a lot of storage, but it's enough for the game and your related content.
