  • I also found now I cannot vote at the community board, even though it’s in my hometown. Is it because the community board I downloaded due to the current bug is technically from Evergreen Harbor, and not from Build/Buy mode?

@thinmint1291 Hm. that shouldn't really matter. It's the board uploaded from the game.

Can you delete the downloaded one and check if you can vote on the existing boards ?
  • @crinrictI’m living in Windenberg; there are no other boards. I checked with another family living in San Mushyno that already had a board in a different public lot in San Mushyno before the bug, and the board didn’t work there either. Then I added the board to my home and it does work there, but I know this worked on other lots within the home neighborhood before the board bug occurred.

  • @crinrictJust moved someone to Evergreen Harbor to try. It worked there (board not on home lot, convince interaction shows up). But still, it’s supposed to work on any lot with a board, right? I did it for a family in San Mushyno before the community board purchasing bug occurred.

@thinmint1291 I think so, just trying to narrow down the problem.

Could you start a new save, place the board again from the gallery and see if it works there then (also just for testing)
  • @crinrict Sorry it took a while, had a week of work. A new save did work correctly, so I’m not sure why this save doesn’t. I don’t have any mods to impact the situation.

So I tested your save and I think the problem is that the board isn't in the same neighborhood as your Sim lives in. Willow Creek and Windenburg the board is in an all community lot area so there's no one you can actually convince there.

It worked for me to place the board in Windenburg in the park on the island and then move in some Sims into the neighborhood.

Going to the lot with the board it then showed up on the Sims. Not sure if moving in Sims is a requirement but I think the boards needs to be in the hood you live in for the options to show up on the Sims.

I don't really see the option on the community board itself though. But I couldn't get it to show in Evergreen Harbor either. So not sure what's going on there.

There's older threads on this though so it doesn't seem to be related to the board from the gallery.

  • @crinrict showing on the board isn’t a thing. I misspoke on that. It wasn’t showing up on the Sims. But okay, it’s not just town/city then, it has to be the exact neighborhood? I didn’t run into that issue with my San Mushyno family before (they live in the fashion district and the board is in the Arts Quarter), but I can work with that logic now.

@thinmint1291 I think so, yes. As the NAPs only apply to one neighborhood, you need to have the board in the one you can vote in.
