Re: last
@jalen1602 Your C drive has almost zero free storage, and that alone could account for the crashing. So the first thing to do is to clear more space. 20 GB total is a good goal, but 15 should at least prevent related crashing or confirm that this is not the issue. You can see your free storage in a number of places, including by opening a File Explorer windows and clicking This PC in the left panel.
Once you've done that, please run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer before trying to play.
If you get another crash, I'd like to look at the software available for your laptop. Go here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops
Enter your computer's serial number, select your operating system if asked, and you'll land on the driver download page for your laptop. Please link that page here. It doesn't contain any information about your own system, just the overall model.
