@puzzlezaddict I have this problem too. I have run de dxdiag, Im trying to run it with ea app, I uninstall and re install and nothing, i repair it and nothing, please help
@minee_rivas AMD offers a newer Windows 7 driver for your graphics card, so please install it:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart the computer after installing and before trying to play.
However, this may not help, as in, you might not be able to run Sims 4 in DirectX 11 mode in Windows 7. Your computer does support Windows 10 (but not 11) if you're willing to upgrade. Otherwise, you'll need to force the game to use DirectX 9 mode instead. Open your EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx9 in the command line box.
If I want to force the game to use DirectX 9 mode on Steam, how can I do it?
Solved!
I did everything from the beginning, but this last part about the DiretcX9 was the last thing needed, i guess, for it to work... i knew i was missing something!
By the way, thank you very much, you deserve a prize from EA, caused you saved a lot of people's game here!!
Amazing!
Cheers! o/
