@puzzlezaddict It does appear that putting it into offline mode before starting does make the game run smoother. It might look like there's a slight drop in frames but it's very miniscule and I could just be making it up.

It appears that my game is perfectly normal again, it's runs smoothly and I have access to the gallery. The EA app is still acting up but at least the problem I care more about seems to be fixed. If I have any problems in the next 24 hours I'll update here.

@ManyFrontiersman That's good to hear. It's possible that this was a temporary problem with EA servers that has since cleared up. Let me know if the problem returns or you need any other help.
