Re: Missing game packs

@Lord-Volton  Try repairing the game in the EA App: open your game library, hover over the Sims 4 icon, click the three dots in the upper-right corner, and select Repair.

If this doesn't work, try repairing in Origin.  Clear its cache first:

https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

Open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

You can have both Origin and the EA App installed on the same computer, you just can't run them both at the same time.  If you get an error when trying to open Origin, open the Task Manager and kill the EABackgroundService.exe, or restart your computer.

@puzzlezaddict Interesting. I had tried the repair from teh EA app a couple of times with no luck. Once I closed down the EA app and launched the game from Origin everything seems to be as it should. I didn't really do anything other than close EA app and start Origin. That is a bit odd as it was working fine yesterday but hey working now so.

    Thanks for the assist.

@Lord-VoltonYeah, this. If I ever have any problems with the EA beta app what seems to fix it is closing it, opening the origin app, and then closing that and reopening the EA beta app. Sometimes if the game is also on EA play which I pay for through xbox,  I have to open the xbox pc app and then it'll work again on EA beta. Pretty much need three apps to successfully run one.. 😛
