left corner pop up not working

hello everyone,

My game hasn't been working properly after the most recent Sims update. when I'm I load into my game, everything works and is functioning fine but the top left menu that usually shows the events and stuff isn't loading. i know it usually happens when I have nonupdated/broken mods in my game. but I've updated all my mods deleted the cache package and reloaded but it's still not working. The game also glitches after any loading screen. to the point where I have to exit the game completely and restart it for anything to work. When it glitches after the loading screen, everything else on the screen disappears beside the top right menu. I'm unable to control my sims after that, though the game still loads and works. I'm just unable to control the sim or click on anything. I'm not 100% sure what's happening and I need help because I can't play my game like this.

I even double-checked all my mods today to ensure that there weren't any broken mods or if any of them needed to be updated. i have, basemental, UI cheats, and mccc. I also have cc in my game but they've never broken my game before. I haven't downloaded anything new since the last update either so I desperately need help because nothing is helping. please send help!
