Re: How to access EA login through the xbox version of APEX Legends?

Figured this mess out.

Use this link to login to ea though your xbox account. (If the link does not take you to a sign in page look at the top right your probably signed in to an ea account already just Log out at the top right then go to login at the top or use the link again and chose to sign in via xbox live or psn.)

https://accounts.ea.com/connect/auth?client_id=origin_CE&nonce=nonce&response_type=code&display=web2/login&theme=eahelp&redirect_uri=https://help.ea.com/sso/login/&locale=en_US

Once your signed in go to this link and scroll down to linked accounts to make sure it is connected to your xbox live account. (Just to double check because why not.)

https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index?gameId=ebisu&locale=en_US

Also If there is a different account linked to your twitch prime use this link to disconnect your ea account from your twitch prime. Scroll down to "Electronic Arts" under "Other Connections" and click "Disconnect". (If you don't know if its a different account or not just disconnect it and connect the correct one using the next link)

https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections

Then go to this link to connect your ea account to your twitch account and get the loot. (You're gonna need to know the email address and password for the account from the first link when you sign in with xbox live.)

https://twitch.amazon.com/prime/welcome?ref_=sm_w_sbwp_p_be_all&ingress=amp-apex

Next time you sign in to apex the loot should be there hope this helped. :eahigh_file:

Thank you for the solution, @Koala_Insanity !

Like @packattaxk mentioned too, you can also see what e-mail address you have registered to your EA account through some of our EA games. Check this link below.

How to see your EA account email in some of our games

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/find-your-ea-account-email-address-using-your-game/

    To clear up any confusion,

If you NEVER played an EA game before on your Xbox Gamertag or PlayStation ID, once you load up the EA game it will prompt you to create an EA account.

If you log into one of our games and do not get that step, it means you must have played an EA game in the past and already set up an account. The trick is to find out the email you previously set it up with that your Gamertag/PSN ID is already set up with. We have a lot of loyal customers that have been playing our games for decades now, so they might have used an email that no longer exists or simply just forgot what it was.

To find the email you can do the following:

    • Go into some of our EA games like I mentioned above to locate it.
    • Sign into Help.EA.com using your Xbox or PlayStation login credentials (there are icons for them at login). Once signed in, click on "Accounts" at the top of Help.EA.com and select Change Email. It will display the email there.
    • Visit Profile.EA.com and sign in with the email you think is registered to your EA account. Once you sign in, scroll down to "Connected Accounts." If you DON'T see your Gamertag/PSN ID there, that means it's registered to a different account.

Our Live-Support can help with account/email recovery.

What if I am having trouble linking up my Twitch account to the EA account OR linked up the Twitch account to the wrong EA account? Don't worry we've got you covered. Check out this article below.

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/apex-legends/apex-legends/apex-legends-and-twitch/

*It's important to un-link from BOTH Twitch and your EA account before linking up again if you previously linked up to the wrong EA account*

I can't log into my ea account because I forgot the password, but the email to recover a new password is deleted cause it was such an old email so I have no way of knowing what a 10 year old emails password is suppose to be if there was a way for me to unpair my xbox from the xbox side this would be easier. I have no way now of changing my old Ea account which is paired to my xbox to my new one in oder to get my apex bonuses

Ok I'm pretty sure that a long long time ago I made an account on some random kid's Xbox and now when I click the button to sign in with an Xbox account it instantly signs in with the old account. I do not have the option to even change the username or password, and now I have no way of getting any of the free loot because I don't own any EA games other than Apex. Can someone help me with this? or am I just screwed.

So apparently some of us are SOL.

Following the instructions made by EA Blueberry, specifically this:

    • Sign into Help.EA.com using your Xbox or PlayStation login credentials (there are icons for them at login). Once signed in, click on "Accounts" at the top of Help.EA.com and select Change Email. It will display the email there.

I found out that the EA account my PSN is linked to is someone else entirely. Someone used my Playstation to log on to an EA game, creating an account with their email, and I have no access to this person or the email in order to fix this. Support is unhelpful as they are unable to do ANYTHING involving the account without verifying the identity of that person. So now my PSN is forever linked to an EA account that I DO NOT own, and will never get access to.

It seems that EA should not allow these automatic log-ins for new games, such as APEX. At the very least, EA, Origin, or Respawn need to allow a user to log-in/out to the correct account via their game. At this point, I could care less, as all I seem to be missing out on is free loot. What is disappointing is that all of my data will never be saved on the proper account, MY account, and that there's always a potential of me losing access to all my progress should the owner of the EA account decide to disconnect my PSN from their account.
