Button layout on Console Xbox

The X button has way to much going on with the X button. Specifically the reload, can we please have the option to dedicate a button to reload? I have been killed so many times because I started a finisher or picked up a teammates banner or started a revive when trying to reload.

Reload is such a key function in the middle of a fight, it really should not interact with finishers, revives, banners or looting. I would almost rather have it combined with the melee button with reload getting priority over melee. As it stands right now there are 2 melee buttons, down on the thumb stick or B. I would really prefer to have melee as down on the thumb stick and B as reload. 

Thoughts? At the very least change the it so that reload gets priority every single time over finishers, revives, banners and everything else. That should be #1 priority.
