Re: Empty Promises and False Hope. #SaveApexRanked before it's too late.

@asukojo wow the people attacking hideouts despite losing a family member are very messed up in the head for that.

As for the sweet message I agree that the cheating has been out of control for so long. I 've played in diamond lobbies a good amount but not enough to experience cheating fortunately, but for those who grind those high level ranks alot, it must suck having to deal with cheaters/ddosers very often. Hideouts definitely needs help cause at the end of the day, he's just 1 man and there's only so much he can do. Last the streamers being able to ban cheaters, that's a tricky one cause it can be good as they can help slow down the cheating problem a bit, but it can also be catastrophic since there's a slight chance that some of them might abuse this to their advantage or be biased with who they want banned.

@soccerking122 I have one thing to say about what you said, if the power of banning others is given to streamers then a lot of people including me are going to drop this ......game.
streamers have done enough damage to this game, this is becoming ridiculous, the only game /developer/studio that giving streamers that much attention is Apex.
stop being so cheap and greedy and hire some professional company or a TEAM to handle this besides Epic
"give streamers the ability to ban players " .....what a joke
let us make it even better, lets give streams our money as well.
  • actually, think about it, giving streamer who take the game serious the right to live ban cheater sound doesn't so bad. first ea doesn't need to worry about money, except the part if those cheater can be a reliable source of money kekw. beside, are you on predator rank? if not why so many people get upset for? you cheat in casual too homie? they get to ban those cheater has been ruining the highest level of the most elite playing field for far too long, not messing around with us in the casual lobby so why bother? this is saving rank, not ruining your life. if they killfeed is full of headshot and spectate someone firing their gun through hard surface with no recoil, flying in the sky like a helicopter and beaming people across the map from miles away, why do you people so affraid of them falsely ban? can a normal player fire a charge rifle infinitely? or fire a devotion perfectly in a straight line at someone head from a light year away?

thirdly, i would gladly accept shivfps as the first ever contender for this program. the man get to taste the boot of cheater so many time you can immediately tell those cheater like tufi or any of those * want to buy fame from him. let him get those out of here so other innocents get to play fairly in the lobby

I've watched too many streamers where every time they die, their excuse would be cheating. If that happens, prepare to get flooded by "Accidentally banned?!" threads in this forum.

@KissYourHomieUwUHonestly, I agree. The Diamond plus ranked experience is just so bad, so streamers flagging a cheater live through the game instead of clipping it is efficient imo. Maybe keep this for ranked or diamond plus lobbies, anyone with half a brain cell could ban a blatant aimbot cheater.

It's not like I am in Pred lobbies so it's not affecting me anyways, and if I was I would glad if the cheater got banned live.

Or a express flagging/reporting system specifically for Diamond plus ranked like a 911 call, any player could do it and those reports would have priority.

@KissYourHomieUwU Shiv is busy playing the game. Don't get me wrong, I love watching him! I don't think you should ban people while you're playing. It's either you play or spectate. Why give that burden to the community? Why can't a BILLION DOLLAR game just hire people exactly for this job and not a sideline streamer? Love and respect.
  • @Cheese9Man LOL, when I watch Shiv playing ranked half the time he is spectating a blatant aimbotter. I don't think anyone could do a 'false ban' watching a aimbotter.

@KissYourHomieUwU @BaldWraithSimp I see Hal doing it from time to time and even Guhrl. Let the streamers be streamers and actually play the game.

This is a sad state of the game. I love the passion that the community has shown around the issue. I guess we're all desperate because the state of the game is just that bad. Rather than having the community do the job for EA, let them be accountable and hire people. Have EA shell out some of that money they got from all those collection events. The burden of moderating games should not be given to the players. Hire an army of hideouts.
  • @Cheese9Man Also suggested a 2nd approach above- Express reporting system available for Diamond and above ranked to all players and then a team of devs like Hideouts to ban within minutes. EA shells money and resources, players have to do minimal

It's always somehow funny how it's blatantly obvious that this game has serious cheater issues but nobody at EA gives a damn about it simply because the game is good with money income and visibility. Unfortunately though Apex is not that big of a game to be talked about like fortnite was before. The only way to get things moving is to stop buying stuff ingame and making big streamers do like a strike, not playing Apex for 2-3 days multiple times, asking for big improvements. That would hurt the image of the game and maybe then EA would at least listen to us.

  • @Cro_Pittt Andrew Wilson will be laughing to the bank later when everyone buys the skins from the collection event. LOL.

@Cro_Pittt A 2 to 3 day streamer strike like right now when there is an ltm they will play is meaningless and disingenuous. Stop playing for a month, then I'll be impressed.
  • @hayhor I said 2-3 days because 1 month is simply impossible lol. Streaming is their job and their main audience is there for Apex. But for example, not playing during weekends when (theoretically) there's usually the peak of views would be a good message to EA. They could keep that on going for several months until someone at Respawn/EA contacts them. But you know, we're talking about something really utopian here lol.

Obviously Hideout is not going to give ALL streamers the power to ban.

The streamers will have to apply, sign agreement, get some coaching how to do it the "RIGHT" way then he will selected trusted streamers only such as :

    A. North America

           - NRG: Sweetdream

           - TSM: ImperialHal, Reps, Snipdown

           - ShivFPS, FunFPS, Acue, Nokopuffs, Eurice, gdolphn

    B. Europe

           - SZ: Tainsheen, Mande

           - Alliance: Haskin.

           - MaTaFe

They can start with very few streamers across multiple region then see how it goes.   If the program succesfull, they can expand to more.
