Re: Any Crypto mains here? Need tips

@Cheese9Man I used to use him a lot in ranked matches. At the begining I always try to see if there are any squads in the area, I believe this is one of his best features (in case you didn't know, you can see and even ping this info while in drone mode on the banners all over the map). Also, when I am still on one place I leave my drone near from this banners so the only thing I have to do is press the drone button, ping and they leave drone mode, usually o check for enemies and let my team know too.
Another great feature, is that he can scan survey beacons within 1 second of interaction while on drone mode, same thing with banners and respawn beacons.
His ultimate is a really good alternative to use before pushing someone, I usually carry 1 or 2 ultimate accelerants while playing him. Also remember not to always be on drone mode, use it when necessary and moderately. (:
I guess that's all I know xd

  • I don't main any legends, but I have put considerable time into crypto so here we go;

    - Don't spend too long in your drone, it's an embarrassing way to get killed and you'll annoy your team.

    - utilise EMP as much as you can, try and memorise the size of the emp's range and you can really utilise it offensively.

    - make use of terrain where applicable while activating drone. E.g use cover, drone activation whilst sliding towards cover/or downhill for less time spent static etc.

    -Crypto is one of the legends with quietest footsteps in game, you can actually mask yourself to a certain extent with his drones audio when in a gunfight, obviously I'm not saying it's like using the ninja perk on cod...People can still hear your footsteps but it'll just be that much harder with the drones audio+gunfire popping

    -utilise the passive! Now this is a huge one, crypto has such a versatile passive that really empowers his drone but it gets slept on constantly.

    As crypto you can instantly activate survey beacons without putting yourself at risk, collect banners from boxed teammates, again without risk. Then there's the the feature carri mentioned, knowing how many squads in the area is a huge advantage, this is the sort of knowledge that can really adapt how you proceed through a match....and can be the difference between a clean fight and a messy 3rd party scenario.

    Sorry for the text wall, I'll stop rambling! XD
