Re: The Grind is Real, The Reward is Questionable?

@OldTreeCreeper

I do not know why the graphs look so different.

But what I can say is that the graph from Apex.tracker.gg is not providing a full picture and that then skews the numbers. They have provided numbers based off of Bronze 3 and up which does not incorporate a lot of players and skews things. If you added the Bronze 4 to the equation then the other numbers would skew downward. I wonder how they are tracking since with how it is not as easy this season to rank up I can not see Plat 3 to D3 making up 43.409% of the player base in those ranks.

Apex.Tracker.gg is not up to date as it is tracking me as a rookie player and that I am not in Ranked. So how much can one trust that?

The Tracker from Apexlegendsstatus seems to be a bit more in line as it is incorporating all ranks and seems to be, IMHO, a bit more accurate in fact the the lower percentage in players in each rank as the rank gets higher makes a lot more sense even if there is a spike at G4 and P4 which to me seems normal for hard-stucks or players that have stopped at that rank in order to protect it.

    @Asmodeus566 in the alstatus graph they remove the rookie players and all that does is to increase the %'s of the other ranks, without distortiing the look of the curve in graph. So removing rookie and b1 in a tracker wouldn't have a dramatic effect either.

    Al status says there are about 2k master/predators but that is not represented their graph. This too really conflicts with atracker.

    Atracker has me on it and the details are correct and up to date.

    The differences are a bit wierd as both of them must be working from the same released data.

    All I can think of is here must be a difference between rank score and rank distribution.

    @Asmodeus566 I just looked further at both sites and got the following info for plat 4 player numbers. There's a huge discrepancy between the 2. There is somthing seriously wrong here.

    @Asmodeus566 I just totted up the number of players in the alstatus graph and its 99,886 players in their ranked distribution l, but nothing for plat 3 and above, even though it has predators and master numbers elsewhere on its site.

    I am not arguing with you that atracker is correct, given your points, but neither is alstatus as they clearly do not have all ranked players included for the season included in their graph.

    The mystery deepens 😃

    Well, I guess both tracker web site just do not have all the info they should have and we will never know, unless EA/Respawn actually set up their own API, which a lot of players have been asking for for years now. I think that EA/Respawn really should implement one and then the mystery would be solved.

    @OldTreeCreeper If anything, Apex Status probably reflects the distribution better than GGtracker, cause there's no way there's more diamond players than plat.
