What kind of admin access are you referring to?

As far I'm aware, you should be able to play custom games, as long you have enough players to start the game.

Playing Pubs is good practice. 

For that Matter playing Ranked as well.

Duos or no fill duos is great also. 

The Best practice is actually playing. 

For Custom matches you will need at least 29 other players in order to host a match and to have that day in/day out for practice will be difficult.
