I have a quick question for the community. Since Apex Legends was released, have you been buying the Battle Pass with real money each season, or do you save up the gold coins you earn in the current BP to get the next season's Battle Pass for free?

Usually I save some coin. Just took a break in season 5. And there was a Watty skin once I really wanted, so spent the coin I had saved on that, and bought the next BP. But generally, I pay with my time as lobby filler and cannon fodder.
...as such, I'll be quitting after this season.

Well next season you will not have a choice, you will have to pay IRL money....
I usually try to save the coins for something I want, then buy the BP if I want it.
Genuine question- If you only play the game to complete the battlepass are you having fun?
Another one- If in 5 years of game time you have only spent $10 on the game, do you realistically expect a game to survive?
Oh and for the record I think doubling the cost and making the BP cash only are mistakes but I fully understand it is a business. For me, I haven't been buying BPs the last couple seasons unless I actually got to the end just by playing. And that's not going to happen this season. I likely won't buy the new passes unless there's something in them I want and I naturally play enough to complete them.
@hayhorNo. The last two seasons I just made the mistake of getting it before I reached like lvl 80-90. So then I feel like I have to. But as I can't use the coins on the next one... don't know if I'm gonna finish it. Don't really wanna play. Had enough of Mixtape. Now, if they'd fix jumping on BR I'd definitely come back.
I don't, no. Not my problem though where they get the money to run the game. Doesn't say anywhere in ToS that I am required to buy anything in the store in order to play.
@Rye-ScoI have a choice, a choice of buying it or not. I choose not. I gave the 10 euros to The First Descendant instead.
bought every battlepass with coins until now , and no way i'm spending any real money on apex while respawn is killing the game as fast as they can 🙂
I have played Apex since season 2 and each season I have bought a pack of €10 and sometimes €20 of coins, I think that was the minimum to contribute to the existence of a game that offered me many hours of play almost daily, at the same time After all, if it wasn't Apex I would have spent more than that money on any other game or nonsense to entertain myself. I haven't played for 2 seasons and once a month or so I check out the forum to see if anything has changed regarding cheaters and matchmaking and I have to say that I won't be back for now.
