If you had to relink your Steam account to the EA account, I'd suggest that you contact EA Help Support and ask for assistance finding the correct EA account where you had your progress previously. It's very likely that you relinked the Steam to a different EA account and that's the reason why you don't see your old progress. Hopefully, the support team will be able to find that account for you.
