Re: Can't access Hardline through EA Play

@MongooseTheBoose

Hey what's up! Thanks for being a member of EA Play.

Question for you, which platform are you a member for and when you go to the EA Play List within the EA Play app it tells you the game has to be purchased?

If you're on console have you tried re-installing the EA Play app and power cycled the console?

    I'm going to assume he's on PC as well as me, since it's a common issue through the years.

    I've tried reinstalling EA desktop, origin, changing browsers 20 times, restarting after clearing internet explorer completely, deleting my whole documents BFH folder, community CFG files, various states of launching things as Admin and in compatibility modes, as well as fullscreen/borderless changing, and changing the order in which I launch things.

    And deleting webhelper, restoring it, it doesn't make a difference.

    Thanks for looking into this! -edit for deleting this stupid part

    @EA_Blueberry   I should clariify I'm sorry -   When I launch singleplayer from battlelog, it failis to launch and gives me an error on EA play - "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later."    These are all attempts I've made to get it to launch but so far nothing has changed the error message

    Nothing significant stands out. Your BIOS is from 2018 so I'd consider updating that when you have a chance, but make sure you read instructions on how to do that carefully to avoid damage to your PC. Updating BIOS can help avoid unnecessary crashes in games.

    Have you tried a clean boot? I see a lot of errors under your Windows reporting. It could be a program or service running in the background causing the game to not launch. A clean boot temporarily disables all non-essential PC programs, this way when you launch the game again as administrator the moment your PC loads up we can rule out whether it's a third party program conflicting with the game/client.

    That worked - I'm going to try to figure out what's having issues with EA desktop specifically now and report back, it might be useful for someone else.

    @GunnTheGoat I would open up one program at a time and then launch Origin/Hardline to see which one causes it to stop. Glad to hear it worked!
