You act like that should excuse your hypocrisy. If you're so concerned with the integrity of the gaming community and it's image then maybe you should not include the worst swear words into a game's scripting. Have a little authority over your games and the servers. Stop excusing admins who abuse power and ban people for any reason whatsoever. You allow these admin to control the experience you're supposed to be providing when I purchase your titles.
I am banned from several servers for "abuse" when I know damn well I never engage with people unless they're provoking me, or other players, but because they belong to clans that are buddies with the admin, no questions are asked. I see servers allowing certain people to break competitive rules with no consequences while banning other players for calling it out. At what point does EA do anything about this? They don't, they just extrude their next title out and continue on. Right to Rebel banned me because I simply questioned their swearing rules. Didn't provoke it, or swear, only questioned it, and I'm immediately banned, now I have a third party in between me and the promised experience from a title I purchased.

Calm down @LibertyisKnockin, EA is not the one kicking you. From Battlelog I see that you play on PC http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/user/LibertyisKnockin/ that means that if you are being kicked and banned from servers they are individually rented servers running on the ranked or unofficial preset because official EA servers are on the Official preset which don't allow admins to kick or ban people. Admins who rent servers are allowed to set standards of conduct for their servers, some are very liberal with what type of language and interaction they will tolerate, others demand that you don't use hate speech and some even kick for swearing and trash talking. All of this is permissible under the EA terms of service. If you are kicked or banned from a server for your interaction with their community simply find another server to play on and play some Battlefield.

You can also go to the movies and see an R-rated movie. But if you right after the movie ends begins cursing and swearing at your fellow movie goers, including children, then you might be banned from the movie theater as well.
In short, real life people swearing at you and fictive characters doing the same are two completely different things. That the characters in game are swearing is no excuse for you to be unpleasant.

Yeah well maybe they could give a warning. 99% of BF1 servers dont care about profanity and then you swear on the one server that does and BOOM! Banned. Not even a warning.

Some servers list it as a rule in their server description that you can see before you enter. So watch that before you go in. Also, since profanity and harassment of other players is not allowed per EA TOS, the server admins have full right to punish you if they choose to. Some will give you a warning in the chat box after your first violation and some might auto punish you but that is the admins choice. If you wish to appeal, contact the server admin but note that it will be up to them completely if they what to reverse their action or not.
My advise, dont swear and attack others and you should be fine anywhere.

It's sad when you need to be told not to be unpleasant.
It’s sad to be so soft
