Inserting the disc and it being unable to be read xbox one

Hello

I've had this game since launch one the Xbox one.  Inserting the disc and loading has always been a bit iffy.  Insert, not read, eject and insert again etc.  However its seems to now be getting much worse.  Also if the disc eventually does work and is left in the xbox, next time i switch the console on and try to load up battlefield it doesnt always work and we start all over again by ejecting and re inserting the disc.

The disc is pristine, I look after my discs.  It is only the battlefield disc that has this error, my other two games have no issue what so ever.  Over the last two days (got a week off work) its a pain and become much much worse where last night it had to be done 7 times! Now at the point of returning it for replacement by Amazon.  However it seems that i can not longer return it as of 31st Jan.

How do I go about replacing the disc and not losing out on the player appreciation month?

I am happy to have electronic download instead.  I have purchased the premium that way and dont mind not actually having the disc. May be less issues.

Thanks

Martin

I have the same exact problem.  The disc is clean... and I've cleaned it again with a damp cloth to be sure... there are no scratches on the disc either, it simply will no load.. Xbox One tells me "my disc may be dirty or damaged, please try again."

Is it possible for an Xbox One disc to "wear out" or is this potentially a problem with Xbox One?  My first Xbox One had issues running battlefield 4... but ran other programs.. it was part of the  Xbox Day One collection... which had bad GPU's.... the box I have now is about two months old.   I don't have problems running any other games-- just Battlefied 4.
