Re: game crash when loading narvik map

PC

sometimes I have the classic double load icon and I have to exit the game via task manager ..... this is not directly connected to narvik map

I usually use Quickmatch or join on a friend.

So the perfect scenario would be that after joining a server and playing couple of rounds, narvik would be the next map it starts to load the map and in the moment when i should get the deploy screen my game shuts down.

there is no error massage, or disconnect

Your graphics driver being out of date could cause it.

Some have fixed their crashing issues by installing the newest Windows 10 October update which you also have not installed.

Lastly, as it's only 1 map you might have a corrupt file on your hand in which case you might want to check your hard drive for errors and then repair the game in Origin.

Check Hard Drive For Errors And Corrupted Files

All files can become damaged. This is just the nature of hard drives. If this affects files this can cause errors and it's therefore a good idea to scan your hard drive. Do this for all hard drives that has Windows and the game installed.

    1. Go to "This PC" in Windows and right click the hard drive and click "properties"
      Rightclick harddrive
    2. Go to "Tools" and and press "Check"
      tools then scan drive
    3. Click "Scan Drive" and let it scan for errors.
    4. If it finds errors let the program fix them
(If there are errors it could mean nothing, but it can also suggest that it might be time to format your computer and/or replace the hard drive)
    5. Reboot your computer
    6. Run the scan again
    7. Keep repeating step 3-5 until no errors are found.
