Re: Two PS4 on same WIFI

hey @LT-Bone22-1 🙂

So, from my understanding, you're trying to connect 2 different consoles through the same wi-fi connection and play on the same server, is that correct?

The fact that sometimes you're unable to do that is perfectly normal I think as it depends mostly on matchmaking.

If I'm not wrong, in BF1 you should be able to join a squad, which means you and your friend will join a server as team members on the same side and then other players will join your team and the opponent one as well.

This could help you and your friends / brother / whoever playing on the same team!

Hope this will help 🙂

Cheers!

Yes, you are correct: 2 consoles going through same router. We have tried establishing a party, going through R2 then joaiming game, one guy entering game and sending invites, nothing seems to work, Our other friends can join in the game, my son and I simply can't be in the same game at the same time through the same router, SOMETIMES. Other times we can enter games together no problem.

We haven't figured out a pattern yet. We're tried different servers, different game modes, etc. Again, I don't think it's bandwidth on our end because I can play a different game while he plays with our clan--no oroblems, no glitching. I'll shoot them all an invite--all our friends can join except my son. We can play NBA2K17 no problem.

We'll keep searching for a pattern. Thanks for everyone's advice/input.

Frequently when two consoles or even PCs are trying to both play BF at the same time at least one of them will need a static IP address in order to make sure traffic doesn't conflict. You say sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, when it works are you playing on separate servers? When it won't work are you in the same server?
