BF4 Premium Content not working rn

Hey everyone. A few days ago, I started having an issue with Battlefield 4 on xbox one where I'm not able to play on premium edition maps (except for Second Assault related content). For example, I try to play a match on Silk Road or Hangar 21 and every time I try to join a server for those dlc maps, I'm just left with a black screen with a little loading icon in the top right corner of my screen and it never goes away or loads that server. I've tried uninstall uninstalling and reinstalling the game and dlcs multiple times, I've tried restarting my xbox one multiple times, I heard that having Hardline installed could've been an issue an uninstalled that game too and nothing is working. As I mentioned earlier, I can still play the base game and Second Assault dlc, but everything else isn't loading. Has anyone else ever had this issue, if so, how do I fix this so I can play the other dlc maps again?

Thank you, MontyMan62

It's crazy. Just got home 14 hour day sit down to play and I have figure out what the hell secure bootmode is. I have bought every single Battlefield game ever made and now I can't play any of them. Since 2002 I have been loving it and now nothing! Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m having the same issue. Playing in a great server, everytime the map rotation comes to Pearl Market, I get a black screen, the blinking cursor in the top right corner and it never loads. I eventually just need to force quit the game to get out of it. It’s super frustrating.

  • Hello TimeStone177a,

The issue doesn’t appear to be related to your DLCs. If reinstalling didn’t help, you should try contacting EA Support.

  • Hi TimeStone177a,

Have you tried moving everything to an external drive yet? Also, can you add a picture of what you have installed at the moment?

That's unfortunate, but I think it rules out an issue with the installation location. Are you able to provide a picture of what's installed for a double check that no DLC has been missed?

However, to answer your question to Danisoff, if you want to contact EA Help, it'd be a case of going to help.ea.com, selecting Battlefield 4 from the list, then the "I need help loading my game". That should let you initiate a live chat.
