UNC blues don't match

As you can see from the photo, there are four different shades of blue when playing as North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The helmet is different from the jersey, which is different from the end zone, which is different from the wall. Out of everything in the picture the jersey is the closest to Carolina blue. Thanks.

  • I think the helmet looks different because it's glossy as opposed to the jerseys. The turf is definitely lighter than the uniforms in real life.

I'm not talking about gloss versus flat, I'm talking about actual shades. In 2015 UNC worked with Nike on a project to revise and standardize Carolina’s athletic uniforms and logos. The decision was made to make Carolina Blue officially Pantone 542. This shade was noticeably darker and greener with a warmer tone than Pantone 278 (Old Carolina Blue). These days if you purchase Carolina merchandise, the blue should be in this tone. For sake of a video game, the blues should match.
