Input Delay

Anyone else have annoying input delay on CFB? I'm hard wired and everything, I don't get any sort of skips or lagging but when trying to hit stick, make a move, etc it doesn't happen when I want it to happen or just doesn't happen at all because it's still mid player switch or something when I'm trying to do the action. Really annoying dealing with an input delay in a game that very much derives on user input.

Depending on your platform can we try the following steps and check if this changes at all?

    Xbox Series X|S

    Spoiler
    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Perform a power cycle.
    3. Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    5. Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
    6. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
    7. Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    8. Clear the MAC Address.
      • From the Xbox dashboard, click Settings, then go to All Settings.
      • Go to Network, then Network Settings.
      • Click Advanced Settings, then Alternate MAC address.
      • Select Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    PS5

    Spoiler
    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
    3. Restart your console.
    4. Perform a power cycle.
      • Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
      • Turn it back on after one minute.
      • Launch your game.
    5. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    6. Reinstall your game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
    7. If your game supports Voice Chat to Text functionality, turn this off in your audio or accessibility settings menu.
    8. Restore the license for the game.
      • Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
      • Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.

    Thanks!

  • This is clearly a game issue and not network related. Have CFB25 on a brand new Xbox one X with nothing else installed or running. The game is installed on the internal drive, not an expansion drive and even while on an offline main menu, there’s just over a 1 second input delay, meaning it can’t be a network latency issue.
