Outside of the first 30 days after launch (Nov-Dec 2021), the peak player count has only hit 20K one other time from January 2022 until now. That is 15 months. This is also the 5th straight month of 15K peak or more. I really hope DICE can see these numbers and continues to bring players the most requested items (Server Browser, Squad Management tools, Performance updates, more maps, Platoons, etc). If they did, they really could stretch this title another year.

I believe this is the first weekend that BF2042 has been available on PlayStation Plus. Probably causing the small bump in Steam charts this weekend due to friends on Steam crossplaying with friends who are on PS.

BF1 and BFV are both solid games, and due to their eras, some players like those better than current and futuristic stuff. 1 and 5 have been f2p for awhile now as well. The biggest difference between those games and BF2042 is a Server Browser. In either of those games, even BF4, I can login and immediately choose the game mode, map, ping of the server I want to play on, and after the match, I can stay there as long as I want. I used to play for hours like that, especially when you found a great squad or team to play with. Very fun. BF2042 doesn't have that, it is completely random. I have not played Orbital or Manifest in at least a month, and those are two maps I like.

@Adamonic That is the positive result of them listening to the community. i.e Classes, AI with Full XP (well almost), Jet balance. Those are just some of the things I've wanted since Season 1 and its finally here. And here I am just hoping we get more than 1 new map a season lmao.

@Adamonic That is the positive result of them listening to the community. i.e Classes, AI with Full XP (well almost), Jet balance. Those are just some of the things I've wanted since Season 1 and its finally here. And here I am just hoping we get more than 1 new map a season lmao.

yay only took over 15 months of finishing the game to make it somewhat worth anyones time and money and god knows how many million mulas down the ditch....

@sk1lld it would be excellent if they'd continue seasons beyond 5. I think the biggest thing the game needs is simply more content (maps mostly) and quality of life stuff (squad management, balance improvements, server browser even though I know it isn't happening).

@Adamonic ...and I still cannot find an active game in any mode other than Conquest, due to the number of players needed to start a round.
Dice need to set a time limit, after which the game starts with AI backfill. Other players are more likely to play a round already started, than sit looking at a loading screen, wondering if anyone will join them.
